As connected devices continue to proliferate, digital commerce is rapidly growing. Almost 75% of Americans made an online purchase through their PCs or mobile devices in the past month, spending over $378 billion in 2014. Javelin forecasts this to grow to $516B by 2019. E-commerce has become a hotbed for innovation with players including Amazon are creating a more frictionless buying experience with single-click checkouts and mobile juggernauts Apple Pay and Android Pay are shaping consumer expectations for mobile commerce.
